Bambu Lab P2S Filter Kit – HEPA14 + Activated Carbon
This filtration kit was specially designed for the Bambu Lab P2S to effectively reduce fine particles and odors emitted during 3D printing, especially when using technical filaments (ABS, ASA, Nylon, PC, etc.).
The concept remains simple and open:
→ you print the enclosure parts yourself using the provided STL files, and we supply all the essential components (filters, fan, screws, seals).

Advantages of this kit
1. Significantly reduces odors and harmful emissions
Incorporates a HEPA14 filter to capture harmful ultrafine particles (UFPs) emitted during printing.
Includes activated carbon to neutralize volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
2. Fan selection
The BLHP2432_H10 fan was chosen to minimize noise while maintaining slightly lower pressure inside the printing chamber.
3. Modularity and cost efficiency
Print the main components yourself using the STL files provided free of charge.
Purchase only the essential parts: P4D-R filter, fan, screws, and magnets.
4. Seamless integration
No modifications required: installs easily without altering your printer.
Recycles warm air inside the printer chamber to create a stable printing environment.
The kit can be remotely controlled via a remote control.
5. P2S color-matched filament option
We offer a specially selected filament option that visually matches the P2S chassis color, ensuring the printed enclosure blends perfectly with your machine.

Recommendations
Although the Bambu Lab Kit significantly reduces ultrafine particles and VOC concentrations, it is important to note that technical filaments (ABA, ASA, Nylon, PETG, PC) can still produce substantial levels of pollutants.
Safety recommendations:
-
Ventilate the room: Use your 3D printer in a well-ventilated area to further reduce the buildup of particles and VOCs.
-
Use low-emission filaments: Whenever possible, choose filaments with low emission rates.
-
Monitor air quality: Consider using an air quality sensor to track pollutant levels indoors and adjust ventilation as needed.
-
Place the printer strategically: Position your printer in a dedicated space, away from living areas or locations where prolonged exposure to emissions could occur.

FAQ:
The system need to be turned on and of with the remote control right?
Yes, the system is switched ON and OFF using the remote control.
When I start printing, I turn it on for the whole printing process?
We recommend running it during the entire print, and for a few minutes afterwards while the print bed is cooling down.
Does the vent only have one speed?
Regarding fan speed: there is only one fixed speed. We have set it based on our test results to provide the best balance between filtration efficiency and airflow.
Where can I get the information about the fillament colours?
Regarding the filament color, we are currently working on achieving a perfect P2S match. For the pictures, we are using a standard PETG grey, which is not exactly the same shade.
