How frequently should the filter be changed?
Filter working life is associated with many factors including filament / resin type, melting temperature, the concentration of nanoparticles and VOCs, ambient humidity...
We suggest replacing the filter according to the following:
- HEPA14 + AC: 8 months
- HEPA13 + AC: 6 months
Usage Limit: We do not recommend going above 1500 hours of use before to replace the filter.
What kind of HEPA filter is used in this fume extractor?
The original filter is HEPA14 + AC. We chose HEPA14 to maximize the removal of nanoparticles generated during 3D printing.
For other technologies that produce fewer particles, such as laser-based equipment, we offer HEPA13 filters upon request. You can purchase FE350 HEPA13 or HEPA14 replacement filters in our shop.
